“Jack was introduced to me by a third party. After having paid a deposit the project was delayed by almost a year due to COVID-19 but what I appreciated most about Jack is that he was always very responsive and that gave me the necessary assurance that I was dealing with a professional outfit. The scope of the renovation project increased massively but Jack worked with me to ensure that all requirements were met and completed within acceptable timelines, despite known challenges after brexit and the pandemic. Some aspects of the project were particularly challenging (e.g. wood flooring installation using a commercial solution to achieve the required standards well ahead of industry norms, upgrading of the plumbing system, bathroom conversion in a tight space complying with all management company requirements) but Jack and his team led by Chris worked with numerous consultants/third parties either appointed by me (e.g. interior architect) as well as the management company to ensure that the project was successful. Chris and the crew were experienced, pleasant and easy to deal with and when we encountered tricky situations we worked jointly to unblock issues. After 5.5 months I moved back to my fully renovated flat and I’m truly delighted with the quality of the product. Jack has dealt with snags and other matters I’ve brought to his attention since and I’m assured once again that the team will be around when needed. I feel that Jack considers the relationship we’ve built as one that’s mutually rewarding for the long term and that’s demonstrable in how he approaches matters, which I hear is not what you always see from contractors. He pushes back when necessary to protect commercials as one would expect and on my part I know I have been demanding within reason but have always maintained a professional relationship.
